I was elected to serve as your Presiding Commissioner in the 2022 November General Election by the people of Barton County MO.
Each job put out for bid by the County requires particulars and forms that will be made available at the Courthouse upon announcement of the request for bids. Request for bids will be announced in the Lamar Democrat, the Liberal News and on the County Website as they come available.
Any job opening with the County requires particulars and forms that will be made available at the Courthouse upon announcement of the acceptance of applications or resumes. If an application is required – it will be located at the Office announcing the job opening. All job vacancies will be publicly posted a minimum of five (5) working days unless there is a compelling reason to proceed immediately.
The commissioners meet every Monday. Beginning at 9am to 4:30pm in the courthouse.
No but it is better to call ahead and be added to the agenda. Scheduling can sometimes be very full.
