Welcome to the County Clerk’s office. We are honored to serve the people of Barton County. I was elected to serve as your County Clerk in the 2022 November General Election by the people of Barton County.
Some of our main responsibilities include Elections, Voter Registration, Budget, Accounts Payable, Tax Book preparation and Payroll. We also issue Auctioneer and Liquor Licenses. Notary Public Commissions go through our office. We are available to assist farmers with their gas refund forms.

FREE/NO CHARGE MISSOURI NONDRIVER LICENSE
- If you don't have a valid photo ID, the Missouri Secretary of State's office will help you obtain one (1) nondriver license for free. We can help you obtain the documents you need at no cost to you
- To obtain a nondriver license from the Missouri Department of Revenue, you will need to provide the following:
1. Proof of Name, Date of Birth, Place of Birth
U.S. Birth Certificate OR U.S. Passport OR U.S. Certificate of Citizenship, Naturalization or Birth Abroad OR a photocopy of a certified U.S. Birth Certificate accompanied by a U.S. Military
Identification Card / U.S. Military Discharge Papers
2. Social Security Number (verbally or by presenting card)
3. Proof of Missouri Residential Address
Utility Bill - Paycheck - Government Check - Mortgage Document -
Voter Identification Card - Property Tax Receipt - Housing Rental
Contract - Bank Statement - Homeless Shelter Address - Church Address
The law now requires Missouri voters to show valid ID on Election Day.
Examples of valid photo ID include:
- Missouri driver license
- Missouri nondriver license
- U.S. Passport
- Military ID
