Welcome to the County Clerk’s office. We are honored to serve the people of Barton County. I was elected to serve as your County Clerk in the 2022 November General Election by the people of Barton County.

Some of our main responsibilities include Elections, Voter Registration, Budget, Accounts Payable, Tax Book preparation and Payroll. We also issue Auctioneer and Liquor Licenses. Notary Public Commissions go through our office. We are available to assist farmers with their gas refund forms.

How do I register to vote?

You can visit our office with proper ID and we will assist you in registering or for more information on registering to vote please see link above.

How can I get election results?

Election results will be posted on our website. (Beginning August 2022)

How do I file for County office?

There is an election for county officials every even year. The notice for filing is published in December of the odd year preceding the election naming the offices that are open for election.

How do I talk to the County Commission?

The Commissioner’s meet on Mondays. Their door is always open. If you want to make an appointment, give us a call. We post their agenda on Thursdays.
