You can now put in a request for a personal property waiver online.

A statement of non-assessment, also called a tax waiver, indicates a specific person, business or corporation does not owe any personal property taxes for a specified tax year. You may be entitled to a waiver if you are one of the following:

A new resident to the state.
This is the first vehicle you have ever owned or have had titled in your name.
You did not own any personal property on January 1st of the prior year.
You are military and your home record is not Missouri.
You lease a vehicle, and the leasing company has paid the personal property tax on that vehicle.

Need to put in a change of mailing address?

You can now fill out a form below to request your change of address. This form can be used to change Real Estate, Personal Property and Business Accounts. If you have any questions, please contact the Assessor's Office.

If you move or change interested parties and DO NOT NOTIFY US, we cannot forward bills to you. The failure of the citizen to receive the tax notice in NO case relieves the tax liability imposed by the law.

When do I need to have my personal property assessment list turned in?

To avoid penalty, return your personal property assessment list by March 1st. List all personal property owned on January 1st.

How can I get a map of the county?

You can purchase a 24 x 36 County map with all Parcels 20 acres and over at the office for $20 or $25 for laminated.

Where do I find a County Plat Book for sale?

Plat Books are for sale in office for $20

Can I get all of the parcel data for the county?

A 1 year subscription for full access to the real estate data website is available for $250. Monthly subscription is also available for $25.
